The Wildfire Research (WiRē) Center is pleased to announce the launch of a new series of brief, highly visual summaries of published research papers: WiRē Research ReCap.
Designed to make research findings more accessible and actionable, each ReCap provides a high-level overview of key findings from a WiRē research paper, along with practical considerations for wildfire practitioners.
The first WiRē Research ReCap, “Risk Perceptions: Practitioners vs Homeowners,” highlights findings from the published research paper, “Perceptions of parcel-level wildfire risk differ between homeowners and trained assessors in wildland-urban interface communities across the western United States.”
