The Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) recently released a series of four short videos on Challenges and Opportunity in Colorado’s forests. The third one (http://vimeo.com/97549777) does a nice job presenting some of the issues of wildfire in the WUI and some of the work being done to protect society from them.
In addition to being generally informative and well done, the video interviews WiRe team members Lilia Falk and Pam Wilson to showcase the efforts of the West Region Wildfire Council and FireWise of Southwest Colorado.
Their content comes in at about 6 minutes, but we think that the whole video is worth seeing!
