Economic Perspectives on Wildfire: Preparation, Property, and Health

Patty Champ will be one of three expert panelists, along with Matthew Wibbenmeyer (Resources for the Future) and Eric Zou (University of Oregon and National Bureau of Economic Research), for the first joint AERE/C-FARE (Association of Environmental and Resource Economists and the Council on Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics) webinar: “Economic Perspectives on Wildfire: Preparation, Property and Health”, to be held on November 16, 2020, at Noon ET. These 50-minute lunchtime webinars focus on extracting lessons and insights for policy makers from economic research around a particular topic of current policy interest. Though targeted to a Hill Staff audience, they are open to anyone, with recent events attracting roughly 300 participants.
