Welcome! WiRē (Wildfire Research) is an interdisciplinary research collaboration focused on homeowner wildfire risk mitigation and community wildfire adaptedness. On this blog, we describe some of our research findings in a direct way, trying to improve the bridge between use-inspired research and on-the-ground programs, management, and policy. Our research is supported by the United States Interagency National Fire Plan, the Joint Fire Science Program, and our individual institutions, but we speak for ourselves on this blog.
